Hi. I'm Amy, and I'm so glad that you found your way here.

A little about me
My name is Amy, and I am a late-diagnosed AuDHDer.
My journey to understanding my own neurodivergence began in 2022 when I was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 44. Getting the diagnosis made so many things fall into place but also brought up many questions and even more emotions.
Then, at the beginning of 2025, I went through another assessment process and was also diagnosed with autism. Even more made sense with the dual diagnosis of AuDHD, yet somehow, I wasn't sure what to do with what I now knew about myself.
I had quite a lot of therapy, which really helped me to revisit my past with the fresh understanding provided by my diagnoses. I now knew that I wasn't just terrible at being a human being – a firmly held belief for most of my life – but that I simply processed things differently. Therapy helped me enormously, but I was still left with no idea how to better navigate the world with my new understanding. Understanding the struggle didn't make the struggle go away.
And that's where coaching came in. I realised that I needed a more practical type of support than I was getting from therapy, and also that there must be so many people just like me (and also not at all like me) in need of that type of support. I decided to train as an ADHD coach, and after extensive research, I started training with Gold Mind Academy.
I have now successfully completed over 90 hours of International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited training with Gold Mind to obtain my Certificate in ADHD-Informed Coaching.

About coaching
What coaching is
Coaching is a partnering process where a trained coach collaborates with an individual (or sometimes a team) to help them gain clarity, build confidence, and move toward personally meaningful goals. It's not about giving advice or fixing problems for someone. Instead, coaching centres on the client discovering insights, making decisions, and taking intentional action that feels right for them.

What coaching is not
-
Not therapy: Coaching doesn't focus on diagnosing or healing past psychological issues. Its aim is forward-looking growth.
-
Not mentoring/consulting: Coaches don't primarily offer their own solutions or expertise. Instead, they help clients discover their own answers through inquiry and reflection.
-
Not advising: Coaching supports clients in clarifying their values, setting goals, and deciding on action — but doesn't prescribe a one-size-fits-all solution.
What is a coaching session like?
A standard coaching session with me lasts for 50 minutes. We will work on whatever you bring to each session, and the topics covered in each session don't have to be linked to provide value to the process.
As the coach, I don't come into a session with the answers you need ready for you. You already have the answers, I have the questions that will help you uncover them.
I will use these questions (which are in line with the International Coaching Federation framework) to guide you through each session, working with you to drive understanding of your chosen topic, through to specific actions that you can commit to working on between sessions.
Throughout each session, you will be empowered to make decisions about the direction of the session to make sure that it is interesting for you and that you get good value from the work.
In between sessions, you will be responsible for the actions that you take as a result of agreements made in session. I will not be checking in with you in between sessions to ensure that you are making progress. This is because I am always seeking to teach my clients to live by holding you accountable for your actions, which may include building a network that provides you with the ongoing support that you need.

Pricing
I offer coaching packages in blocks of six sessions as follows:
Standard package
x6 50-minute coaching sessions
£660.00
Pay it forward package
x6 50-minute coaching sessions
£810.00
I like to be up front about my pricing, because I believe that it takes some of the anxiety away from deciding whether or not to work with me. Imagine mustering the courage to contact me, have a discovery call and then realise that coaching is not within your available budget. Just awful.
With that said, I do offer a limited number of free coaching spaces to people on lower incomes, so please don't let budget stop you from getting in touch with me to discuss your coaching needs.
Please note that there may be a wait list for free coaching. If you are a higher earner, please do consider using the "Pay It Forward" rate listed above to support others in the neurodivergent community.
